My favorite dish on our menu is the Deep Water Mahi-Mahi. As a Michigan native, I remember childhood vacations, where eating mahi-mahi was a special treat that brought the taste of the ocean to my plate. Now, as General Manager at Fort Myers Beach, that same love for mahi-mahi continues, making it my go-to meal at Doc Ford’s. It not only reminds him of those cherished memories but also showcases the fresh, vibrant flavors that Doc Ford’s is known for.”

Great food and experience.
When we vacation at Fort Myers we always come on Monday to have the Monday scallops special. It is delicious! Bella was great. Planning to come another night for the Yucatán Schrimp. That is a wonderful dish also. We love Doc Fords for the food and sitting outside by the water. It is part of our love for Fort Myers Beach!!

FANTASTIC meal at Doc Ford's
We just had the best dinner at Doc Ford's Fort Myers Beach! We actually dined there twice during our week-long stay, but the second time was better because of our waitress Shiva! The swordfish catch of the day was SLAMMING. We also had the macadamia nut crusted grouper, which was fantastic. Our kids enjoyed generously sized kids portions. We also got the banana bread pudding! So yummy! We've been to Fort Myers Beach many times over the years, and Shiva has now put Doc Ford's at the top of our list of where to go for a fantastic meal.
Go here, you will not regret it!

Best Food in Fort Myers
One of my favorite places in the Fort Myers area! The ribeye and macadamia nut crusted grouper are life changing dishes. Both cooked perfectly and melt like butter. Ellie is a fantastic waitress who makes you feel like family! This is a great water front restaurant woth the chance to spot some manatees. Perfect spot any time of day with some of the best food.
